‘Ventured’ and ‘sobbing’ – I’ve missed your fantastic language Matilda! Great to see some spelling corrections in there, too!
We haven’t covered this in school yet but it might be possible to start including speech marks in your writing since you have dialogue. For example:
What’s wrong little glowworm? Asked the lady bird —> “What’s wrong little glowworm?” asked the lady bird.
I am putting the ” ” around the part that the lady bird is saying. Try it out!
